Day at the Capitol is UCF SGA’s largest annual direct advocacy student program. Student advocates sit in the Tallahassee offices of their state senators and state representatives to discuss SGA’s legislative agenda that–if implemented–will be of great benefit of the Student Body. This year, we will discuss the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, the Excess Credit Hour Surcharge, and rerouting textbook taxes for on-campus building improvements.

Day at the Capitol will take place on Wednesday, November 15th. Student advocates will be bused to and from Tallahassee and will be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
