Are you interested in serving your fellow students through UCF’s Student Government Association? No SGA experience is required – just  a passion for service! The following are ways to get involved with SGA this Fall:

 

Student Body Senate

In Senate, you’ll have the opportunity to represent your college, fund and advocate on behalf of student organizations, and work on initiatives to better the UCF student experience! Candidate Application Packets become available on August 20th at 9am and are due September 14th!

 

Student Government Leadership Council (SGLC)

In SGLC, you will develop and exercise practical leadership skills, connect with student leaders across campus, and impact UCF through collaborative projects. Applications can be found at bit.ly/ucfsgaSGLC and close August 24th!

Scholarships

Parking Appeals

Got a ticket on campus? The SGA Judicial Branch provides many services to students, including Parking Appeals. Read about the process and resources available to you.

Scantrons/Bluebooks

Scantrons and Green Books can be picked up at the SGA office during regular office hours (8am-5pm Mon-Fri), or at the Student Union's information desk after 5pm (Mon-Fri). Just bring your UCF Student ID!

All Knight Study

The main objective of All Knight Study is to provide an environment where students have the opportunity and space to study efficiently. Similar to a library setting, students are expected to follow all study room rules and regulations, allowing them to study in a quiet environment. All Knight Study is operated by the Student Union, funded by SGA.

Lyft

Need a lift this weekend? Students receive $5 off weekend rides between 8 PM - 3 AM with the use of their Knights email address.

How to Receive RSO Funding

    Step 1

    RSOs must complete an OSI update form each Fall, Spring and after officer elections before seeking SGA funding.

    Step 2

    Complete Financial Training through A&SF Business Office online.

  • 3

    Step 3

    Fill out Allocation Request Forms, and attend senate committee meetings following your submission date.

    Step 4

    If approved, meet with accountant in A&SF and bring your allocation number immediately following Senate approval.

  • 5

    Step 5

    If you are requesting funding for an FAO event, you must submit promotional artwork approval for your event to FAO the same week your FAO Allocation funding request is submitted.
